TakeNote

Fast and simple note taking program. Note taking on a computer should be faster than note taking using pencil and paper.

This is the frame of mind that was used while writing this program. TakeNote lets you simply enter notes any way you like--no forms to fill out! Then once you have entered notes, you categorize them with a single keystroke in a familiar looking folder tree. This program is very fast and very simple. Keyboard equivalents for everything since using a mouse on a laptop is anything but desirable. TakeNote is ideal for taking notes in meetings, classes, or anywhere else you would like to use your computer to take notes.
